The Welch Corp.

The Welch Corp is a family-owned, third generation Construction Company located in Brighton, Massachusetts. We specialize in excavation, grading, sitework, utilities, soil remediation, landfill construction, paving and equipment rentals. We have been in business over sixty years and have worked on large commercial projects thoughout New England.

The Welch Corp. has a full time estimating department that is able to quickly provide our clients with budgets and estimates. Our project foremen are fully trained in HAZMAT and OSHA 40 Hour training. We are a union shop having agreements with the Massachusetts Laborers and the Operating Engineers Local 4. We presently employ over one hundred and ten skilled laborers, equipment operators and foremen.

The Welch Corp. is a member of the Building Trades Employer Association (BTEA) and The Massachusetts Building Congress. Also, we are affiliated with the Albert J. Welch Equipment Corp., which owns and operates in excess of ninety-five pieces of late model heavy equipment and support vehicles. We employ a full-time maintenance staff to ensure all of our equipment is operating safely and efficiently.

We are currently working on projects at MIT in Cambridge for Skanska USA; Children’s Hospital in Boston for John Moriarty & Associates; Pleasant Street Development Cambridge for Spaulding & Slye Colliers; Logan Airport for AMEC Construction Management; Caritas Norwood Hospital for Bond Brothers Inc; and Boston University Life & Science Building for Turner Construction, just to name a few.

The Welch Corp. has a full-time safety department to ensure safe operations on all of our projects and we strive to have the safest work environment possible for our employees. All of our foreman are required to read and understand our safety program.
